Have been researching family history for 30+ years. Started PrenticeNet.com in 1996, as a collection point for all things Prentice/Prentiss/Prentis .. specifically as it relates to genealogy, but also Prentice businesses, places, and other things. The Prentice Museum has lots of interesting Prentice-related items. Lived in the Boston area for a number of years where I was able to research many locations where my Prentice ancestors lived.

Immigrant Ancestors

I started building this list thinking it would be "interesting and easy," but it seems to go on and on. Definitely interesting, but way more people than I expected. Since most of my immigrant ancestors are 8th ,or greater, great grandparents, there are a lot of people to draw from! So far this list has 152 individuals, with just a few duplicates (noted).

Dates in bold indicate year of arrival in America.
