Burial

31 MAR 1684 Newbury, Essex, Mass.

Note

Pillsbury genealogy gives a daughter, b. prob. abt 1623 who was represented by Mary Emerson in 1680. Could this daughter be this Anne who immigrated with her father in 1635? If so, then why would John have a second daughter also named Anne born in 1631 and married to James Ordway?

Anne Emery, d/o John Emery and his first wife, Alice Grantham, was bpt. at Romsey, Hampshire, 18 Mar 1632/3; m. 25 Nov 1648 at Newbury, Massachusetts James Ordway.[5]
