Per TAG 70 (1995): 147-148, Michael's first wife’s surname was not Jeve (often given incorrectly as Jobo or Jobs). A Mary (Jeve) was the wife of a Michael Bacon of England, and they had a daughter Mary Bacon baptized 1625/26, but they did not emigrate. The article states that the English Mary Bacon was a distant cousin of the Mary Bacon who married John Lakin.
