Louis King was born on March 10, 1883 in Farmersville, Cattaraugus, New York. He is the son of Milo King and Cornelia Hooper. [1][2]
In 1910, Louis and his wife, Elvena Mix, resided in New Hudson, Allegany, New York with their children - Hanford, Leland, and Maynard. [3] Their daughter, Mina, was born in 1912, and daughter, Dorothy, in 1913. They lived in Rushford, Allegany, New York. [4]
On September 12, 1918, Louie registered for the United States World War I military in Allegany County, New York. He was a farmer in Caneadea, Allegany, New York. [5]
Louis lived in Olean, Cattaraugus, New York in 1930. Included in his household were his five young adult children, and a son-in-law, Wilbur Hiller, husband of Mina King Hiller, and daughter-in-law, Lena King, wife of Leland King. Louis worked for the railroad as a car oiler. [6]
In 1940, Louis resided in Allegany, Cattaraugus, New York with his wife and married daughter, Mina Jeffrey and son-in-law, Richard Jeffrey. [7]
Louis died in 1972 and was buried in Bellville Cemetery, Bellville, Allegany, New York. [8]
