Clyde King was born in September 10, 1885 in Farmersville, Cattaraugus, New York. He is the son of Milo King and Cornelia Hooper. [1][2]
In 1910, Clyde lived in Centerville, Allegany, New York with his parents and sister, Angeline Tapp. [3]
On September 12, 1918 in Belmont, Allegany, New York, Clyde registered for the United States World War I military draft. He was 33 years old and employed as a farmer on his father's farm in Caneadea, Allegany, New York. He made his mark when signing the registration form. [4]
In 1940, Clyde was a hired hand for Leda and Jesse Dewey in New Hudson, Black Creek, Allegany, New York. He was single.[5] By 1942, when he registered for the World War II draft, he lived with his brother, Louis in Allegany, Cattaraugus, New York. [6]
In 1950, Clyde lived with his brother, Louis, in Allegany. Included in the household were his widowed sister, Angeline Taylor, and Lewis' divorced son, Maynard. [7]
Clyde died on May 12, 1956 in Olean, Cattaraugus, New York. [8]
