Wendy Heron was born in a military hospital overseas, returning home to Western New York with Mom and Dad at 14 months, via TWA to New York City and then the New York Central Railroad to Buffalo. She grew up in the country and small towns in Western and Central New York with her parents and three younger siblings. After graduation from Syracuse University, Wendy drove to California where she settled and married and raised two children. She has had a long career in nonprofit business management in Northern California.
