Biography

Angeline King was born in June 1878 in Farmersville, Cattaraugus, New York. She is the daughter of Milo King and Cornelia Hooper, and they lived in Freedom, Cattaraugus, New York in 1880. [1]

Angeline lived in Farmersville, Cattaraugus, New York in 1892 with her parents and three brothers, Guy, Lewis and Clyde. Her father was a farmer. [2]

In 1900, Angie lived in her father's household in Farmersville, Cattaraugus, New York with her parents, brothers and grandmother, Almira Hooper. Her father was a farmer. [3]

Angie married Albert Tapp in about 1900, based on the birth of their eldest child, Raymond, born in 1901. They had two other children, Hazel and Marvin, before Albert died in 1907. In 1905, they resided in Concord, Springville, Erie, New York; the household included Albert's mother, Elizabeth Tapp, and his daughter, Marian, from his first marriage. After Albert's death, Angie and the children lived with her parents in Centerville, Allegany, New York. [4]

On February 17, 1915, Angie married Verner Alfred Taylor, son of Edwin Taylor and Cordelia Lafferty, in Rushford, Allegany, New York. He was a widower who had been married twice before. [5] [6]

In 1920, Angie and Verner lived in New Hudson, Allegany, New York. In their household were Angie's children, Hazel and Marvin, and Verner's daughter, Garnet Taylor. Verner was a farmer. [7] In 1930, Angie's father, Milo King and brother, Clyde King, lived with them in New Hudson. [8]

Angie and Verner lived in Black Creek, Cuba, Allegany, New York in 1940. [9] Verner died in November 1940.

Angie died December 21, 1953 in Olean, Cattaraugus, New York. [10]
