Henry King was born in 1916 in New York. He was the son of Louis King and Elvena Mix. He lived in his father's household in Portville, Cattaraugus, New York in 1925. ^[1]

Henry was fatally shot by another youth on July 29, 1929 on Haskell Road, Olean, Cattaraugus, New York. He died at Cuba Hospital, Cuba, Allegany, New York. ^{[2] [3]} He was buried at Bellville Cemetery, Bellville, Allegany, New York. ^[4]
