Biography

Mina May King was born on November 12, 1911 in New Hudson, Allegany, New York. She is the daughter of Louis King and Elvena Mix. She lived with her parents and siblings in Rushford, Allegany, New York in 1915. ^[1]

On September 17, 1929, Mina, age 18, married Wilbur Hiller, age 21 and son of Elmer Hiller and Sadie Heaps, in Cuba, Allegany, New York. Wilbur was an oil worker. ^{[2] [3]} In 1930, Mina and Wilbur lived in her father's household in Olean, Cattaraugus, New York. Wilbur worked as a laborer for a glass company. ^[4]

In 1940, Mina and her second husband, Richard Jeffery, lived in her father's household in Allegany, Cattaraugus, New York. Richard worked for a glass factory. ^[5]

Mina died on November 13, 2011 in Mesquite, Dallas, Texas. She was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, Chemung, New York. ^{[6] [7] [8]}
