Biography

Daniel was born in 1724. He passed away after 1784.

Daniel Soule, son of George Soule and Lydia Howland, was born in Dartmouth 13 Apr 1724 and d. SandyCove/Digby, Nova Scotia after 20 Feb 1784 and perhaps after 1790 and 1800 (Census)[1]

He married in New Milford, Connecticut, 14 Feb 1749 Hannah Pickett, dtr of Thomas and Meriam/Mary (Blakeslee) (Mallory) Pickett.[1]

He probably lived in Nine Partners, New York, He recorded an ear mark in Dutchess Col 6 Aug 1744.[1]

He was not named in his father's 1776 will, proved 1784.[1]

He or his son Daniel was an active loyalist during the Revolution, joined the Royal Standard in New York 1778 [9] and a Daniel Soles was imprisoned around 1776/7.[1]

The family went to Digby (formerly Conway) Nova Scotia 1 Jun 1783.[1] More information in source.
