Responding to your question about that Babcock family study sticker I posted on Babcock-4903, I do a little bio-improvement on Babcocks almost every day when reviewing the daily feed for the Babcock tag, and have created a large number of Babcock profiles which I orphaned in hope a relation later adopts them.
You can use the sticker if you like it for anyone born Babcock (and for North American born Badcocks, whose lines later adopted the Babcock spelling). If you don't like the sticker, you can erase it. I find the sticker useful, as I like to look at how family groups migrated over time. There are way more Babcocks than I ever imagined.
I stumbled into my Babcocks when we were looking for a cemetery in our area of Wisconsin. Turns out at one, the Evergreen Cemetery in Albion Wisconsin, there are a great number, 35-40. And I am 5,6,7,8 cousin with most of them. We ended up elsewhere with out family plot, but still very interesting.

you have not already done so, we invite you to join the email GoogleGroup and text chat Discord channel for our project. (You will need your Wiki ID for both). Neither is required; we also use the Profile_Improvement tag in G2G for Project announcements.
We thank you for all you do to help the Profile Improvement Project meet its goals. Please share your thoughts in a reply to this comment or via private message to one of us.
I think you need more to do. Ha Ha
Thanks for the message.
I would like to be moved to the abandoned team. Seems I do a lot of these anyway in the areas I work.
Barton, Hackbarth, and some early ancestorial lines.
Still out there improving profiles and making friends. Have a cousin in Europe now.
Thanks.

Judith has informed me of the changes made by yourself on Catherine Charron l'ainée (1666-1746)' profile. For your information, see also relates to sources outside those cited already. On this profile, there are sources listed inline as marriage IGD etc. There are also sources with span anchors, which get clarified under the sources/references tags as to what they consist of. The same holds true for the IGD references, the full source and link to site are put under the references tag. These are NOT a see also item, they are one and the same item clarified.
Please do not make changes to profiles just to move or insert a see also on them when that is all you are doing, generates traffic and extra saves and changes log items for very little actual usefulness or value.
I see you have been making changes on Marguerite Gentes (1682-1763)' profile, relating to formatting. Problem is, you obviously did not understand why it was done the way it is. Please, before making such changes rotely, communicate.

A while ago I helped write the "source section" and the "fraudulent source warning" on the family study home page. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Babcock_Name_Study . I also participate in the Babcock-Badcock surname project at FTDNA (lead by Kent Babcock of wikitree) which has some on-going questions that maybe DNA can resolve, and also now boasts some discoveries which I have integrated into wikitree over the years. See: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Y-DNA_Babcock-Badcock_Project and https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/babcock/about
