James was born about 1801 (adjusted to match current mother). He was the son of Thomas and Nancy? Hale.[1]
He married Nancy Glenn February 20, 1813.[2]
James Hale died in 1824 in Scott County, Indiana.[3]

Hughbanks family history states that Daughter Eliza may be descended from Nathan Hale. [4]
