Biography

1776 Project
Peter Sanborn Esq. performed Patriotic Service in New Hampshire in the American Revolution.

Peter Sanborn was born May 25, 1713, in Kingston, Rockingham county, New Hampshire, son of Tristram Sanborn and Margaret (Taylor) Sanborn. [1].[2] [3]

Peter was a member of the Third New Hampshire Provincial Congress in 1775 [4] [5]

Peter married Mary Sanborn on December 14, 1732[6]and was the father of Peter Sanborn, Jr. who married Anna Scribner and ten other sons and daughters.[7] Peter and Mary were first cousins.
