Welcome! This page is an extension of Awbrey Magna Carta Trail, which is a workspace for collaborators on the Awbreys of Virginia to see the status of the various trails to surety barons from John Awbrey, one of three brothers who immigrated to Virginia in the 1600s. While John's profile is used in both that page and this one, the trails would be the same for his brothers Henry and Thomas. The profiles for the Awbrey brothers were once included in the Magna Carta Project's category for Prospective Magna Carta Gateway Ancestors, which has since been deleted and the Magna Carta Project sections on their profiles deleted by the project (as of April 2023).

As noted on the profile page for Elizabeth (Johnes) Awbrey, mother of the Awbrey brothers, they descend from 14 of the 17 surety barons with known descendants past the fourth generation, according to Ancestor Listmaker (missing lineal connections to Lanvallei-3, Malet-18, and Say-76).
