I believe John de Mowbray should also have Peter Worden listed as another Gateway Ancestor. His lineage goes through John de Mowbray, to Christiana Mowbray, Alice Plumpton, Margaret Sherburne, Richard Sherberne elder and junior, Agnes Sherberne, Nicholas Rushton, Agnes Rushton, Peter Worthington, and Isabel Worthington.
Thanks. The Magna Carta Project is not aiming to list or verify or develop every trail from Gateways to Surety Barons. Its main aim is to develop ONE trail from each Gateway to ONE Surety Baron. Peter Worden already has a different trail developed to Robert de Ros. Many Gateways have multiple trails to Surety Barons - in some cases, tens of trails.
Started a g2g on the wife shown here; Whitmore-904. Also discussed this on this profile back on Jan 25, 2015. Whitmore-904 does not appear in any of the sources. If nobody has anything supporting this connection, I'll be removing her shortly.
Four children - Geoffrey, Margaret, Roger and Eleanor are all unsourced (ancestry.com) and do not appear in any of the research (Royal Ancestry, Magna Carta Ancestry, or Medieval Lands).
Three of the four have no spouses or issue.
Mowbray-305, Mowbray-306, Mowbray-307, and Mowbray-308.
I would suggest all four are removed from parents Mowbray-54 and Braose-39.
John de Mowbray, son of Roger by his wife Rose de Clare, married once to Aline de Brewes (Braose-39 here). John and Aline had one son, John. (Royal Ancestry, V 4, p 182) Magna Carta Ancestry also shows a second child, Christiana Mowbray-20. (Vol 3, p 355, 366).
John de Mowbary, who married Margaret Percy, was the son of William de Mowbray by Agnes. (Visitation of Yorkshire 1584-5, p 292). She should be detached from this profile as spouse, as should her son Alexander.
I do not see Margaret Whitmore-904 and Margaret Day-860 in any research. If anyone has anything suggesting they should be connected to this profile, please provide a source.
That leaves several other children here either "unproven" or in the wrong place.
Thank You,
Thanks

Any suggestions? Thanks
That would be Roger de Mowbray.
Anyone disagree?
