Lucia Provenzano is born 4 February 1877 in Corleone and baptized the next day. Her parents are Giovanni Provenzano and Giovanna Ligotino. Her godparents are Luciano Vallone and Bernarda Mancuso, a married couple. Lucia is named after her paternal grandmother.
Lucia's mother, Giovanna, dies at age 30 (b. 1849) on 11 November 1879. Her father remarries to Lucia Ligotino, Giovanna's cousin, on 27 November 1880.
Lucia marries Giuseppe Gennaro on 1 December 1893 (30 November 1893 in the civil record).[1]
Lucia and Giuseppe have at least one child, Biagio (c. 1895).
Biagio marries Antonina Sansone on 6 October 1929 in Corleone.[2]
