Biography
Francesca Provenzano is born in October 1894 to Giovanni Provenzano, borgese (middle class property owner), and Lucia Ligotino. They live at via San Giovanni, 24.
According to the margin note on her birth record, she marries Matteo Vutera;[1] however, the marriage indices say that Matteo, the son of Giovanni Vutera and Bernarda Ciavarello, marries Margherita Catalinotto, daughter of Rosario Catalinotto and Lucia Ligotino.[2]
