Biography

Marie Malvina Morin was born on 28 May 1858 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Vital parish in Lambton, Beauce, Canada-Est. She was the daughter of Dominique Morin, farmer, and Magdelene Corriveau of this parish. Sponsors at Malvina's baptism were Hubert Langlois and Eugénie Paré; neither signed the register. At age 18 Malvina married Alphonse Labrecque on 13 Jan 1876 in Saint-Vital parish in Lambton. There were two known children born into this marriage. Malvina died at age 36 on 10 Jan 1895 in Disraeli, Québec; she was buried two days later on 12 Jan.
