Biography
Pierre Honoré Morin was born and baptized on 21 Sep 1841 in Saint-Anselme parish in Bellechasse, Bas-Canada. He was the son of Dominique Morin, farmer, and Madeleine Corriveau of this parish. Sponsors for Honoré's baptism were Pierre Morin and Louise Corriveau; neither sponsor signed the register.
At age 21 Honoré, a farmer, married Vitaline Vermet on 2 Feb 1863 in Saint-Anselme parish in Bellechasse, Canada East. There were six known children born into this marriage.
Honoré died at age 67 on 3 Mar 1909 in L'Hôtel Dieu de Québec, Québec, Canada; he was buried two days later in Saint-Vital parish cemetery in Lambton, Beauce, Québec.
