Biography
Dominique Morin was born on 27 Jul 1812 in Saint-Henri de Lévis parish. He was the son of Joseph Morin, laborer, and Marie Morin of this parish. Sponsors at Dominique's baptism were Pierre Morin and Marie Louise Samson; neither signed the register. At age 25 Dominique, a farmer, married Magdeleine Corriveau on 24 Jul 1838 in Saint-Anselme parish in Dorchester, Bas-Canada. There were 11 known children born into this marriage. Dominique died at age 71 on 23 Jan 1884 in Lambton; he was buried two days later on 25 Jan in Saint-Vital parish cemetery.
