Marie Zoé Morin was born and baptized on 25 Dec 1842 in Saint-Anselme parish in Bellechasse. She was the daughter of Dominique Morin, farmer, and Madeleine Corriveau of this parish. Sponsors at Zoé's baptism were Augustin Morin and Marguerite Goudbout [sic]; neither signed the register. At age 17 Zoé married Jean Turgeon (later John Sturgeon) on 28 Aug 1860 in Saint-Vital parish in Lambton, Beauce. Zoe died at age 74 on 25 Dec 1916 in De Smet City, Kingbury, South Dakota. United States.
