Ephrem Morin was born on 25 Dec 1855 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Vital parish in Lambton, Beauce, Canada East.. He was the son of Dominique Morin, farmer, and Magdelene Corriveau of this parish. Sponsors for Ephrem's baptism were Dominique Morin and Delima Tardif; neither sponsor signed the register.

He passed away in 1930 in St. Louis, Minnesota, United States.
