Help with Latin Phrase

In a 1770s baptismal record there is this phrase:

  • Franciscus Schmid Miles de inclyto Regimine Colloredo corrupit Viduam Juditha Schneyderin

I know Franciscus was a soldier in the Colloredo infantry regiment which was domiciled near the town of interest. The record does not say the child was illegitimate, but it seems that Franciscus and Juditha were not married as the construct of this statement differs from others in the records. Young widows often remarry ... but what’s going on here?

This not a case of military occupation of the area, as the records show the presence of this regiment in the area over many years.

Any suggestions?

Franciscus Schmid soldier of the famous Regimine Colloredo has spoiled the widowed Juditha Schneyderin.

I think that means, that the child was illegitimate.

The translation is what I found as well (from google). The translation seemed odd, however.

A second opinion is always good!

Thank you.
