Emile was born the son of Alphonse Matte and Calixte Leclerc on December 31, 1877 and was baptized on New Years day at le Cathédrale de Saint-Germain-de-Rimouski.[1]
Sadly he passed away just over 5 years later on April 16, 1883 and was buried the next day at Saint-Germain-de-Rimouski catholic Cemetery.[2]
