Biography
When Amanda "Mandy" King was born on September 10, 1848, in Wilkinson, Georgia, her father, John Jehu King, was 41, and her mother, Elizabeth Betsy Valenine, was 21. She married John B. Steele on November 25, 1890, in Union, Arkansas.[1] She died on March 21, 1931, in Harrison, Arkansas, at the age of 82, and was buried in Strong, Arkansas.
