Biography

Parents Jacob was the son of Joseph Ford and Freelove Beals. He passed away in 1849.

Jacob's birth year is described as being between 1774 - 1775 and these years are those that were included in information under his father's details on pages 59 and 60 and that are more fully explained under the heading Jacob's Own Biography.

Role in Significant Event He (meaning Jacob) may have been the Jacob Ford who carried a citizen's petition for the stay of the execution of Stephen Arnold from Otsego County to New York's governor in 1805.

Land Sales In 1806 Jacob Ford of Middlefield, Otsego Co., bought land from Abner Dunham, giving a mortgage; in 1809 Jacob Ford sold to Dunham. In 1816 Jacob and Bathsheba Ford were grantors of Joseph Ford's property in Worthington Qones, Louis C.,

I've Updated Jacob Ford From the the Cummington Massachusetts Vital Records Book . I have been in Contact With.. Leslie Keller...Historian at the Cummington Massachusetts Historical Society.. The Society has the record Book that were used in My Mayflower Match and James Chilton Application..

Still looking to Prove Our Sarah Ford Edson 1777-1846..for Francis Cooke.. Seemed there are Two Sarah Ford's. One married to Phillip Hodges & Our Sarah Ford . married to Isaac Edson.. Even the Cummington VR Book clears this Up.. Thanks Again.. Mike

Bathsheba Bates-17206 was born in 1749. It's highly unlikely that she married a man 30 years younger than herself. I've removed her as his spouse.
