In the 1900 census Jesse (age 1) was the son of Lou Armstead in Justice Precinct 1, Hays, Texas.[1]
Research Notes
Jesse is listed as a son of Lou in the 1900 census but it is possible he was a grandchild since Lou would have been in her mid-50s at his birth.
