Will is available for download here. If it weren't in Latin, I probably could 100% confirm that this is his will. (FamilySearch contributor says it is.)

  • Prerogative Court of Canterbury. Reference: PROB 11/352/31. Description: Will of Sir William Blois of City of London. Date: 05 June 1676. Held by: The National Archives, Kew.

Preview images of the will indicate it is in English.

Are you looking for it on Ancestry?

What you've found is the sentence; the legal.judgement. (perhaps a challenge or something not legally correct with the will) sharing link

The actual will is in English but  is indexed  on Ancestry as Guilielmi Blore sharing link

(Edit, horrible scan on ancestry though. Would be better to download from TNA)

(Edit 2, can't read much of the will on the Ancestry scan on my phone but 1) it's not the usual form for a will (perhaps why it needed juducial review) 2) can't see ref  to City of London but it will be there somewhere . It  may be where he was when he wrote his will, not necessarily  where he was when he died.

Odd, the download I got directly from Kew looked like Latin, but I am old cursive-phobic.
Thanks, no, I can't get anything from Ancestry. The link should take you to The National Archives, Kew. Right now, they give free downloads if you join.

The will is in English but the part under "Quinto" is in Latin. I think I read: William de Bloys militis impir de Grundesburg in countie Suffolke sed in fra civitatem London deceden Kentis ...etcetera.

I don't know Latin but Google translates this as: William de Bloys the commander of the army of Grundesburg in county Suffolk, but retired to the city of London in Kent ..... etcetera.

The Wikipedia page about Blois family mentions William's death in London.

Thanks, I'll fix the death location next time I go into edit mode (again).
