Is FamilySearch down?

Question

I have been working on Whitten families this morning. I just went to add another family member and got a message from FamilySearch saying "This feature is not available in your location"! What? I have been using this feature all morning and for the past several years.

Is anyone else having issues with FamilySearch today?

Carol, I was going to suggest to you to log out of Family Search, shut down your computer, and then open everything up again to see if that helps you.

I think the site is having issues. I was just looking at a record, went to someone's else's profile, then went back to the record about a minute later and suddenly nothing was working.

I am using it right now Carol, and doing in-line biographies with sources from Family Search.

I have been using it for at least a couple of hours. Although it has not been as fast as usual, but performance is acceptable. I have found that sometimes net work issues have an adverse effect on performance. Restarting my gateway usually resolves things (I use Xfinity).

I have been getting intermittently weird behaviour all day, including (for a while) messages saying profiles were locked for editing. Seems to be ... better now .... but still not great.
