Have others noticed that citations on FamilySearch are no longer right there on the search page, but have been hidden away?
I recall going through RootsSearch to FamilySearch to locate sources, and clicking on a source header would expand it to a short summary that would have the citation I needed for WikiTree at the bottom. Just a copy-and-paste and I'd have my citation for WikiTree.
No more, it seems. Now, clicking on the source line brings up a sub-window where the details are nicely formatted but no obvious citation.
I found where it now resides, though. The right hand side has a pull down titled "Document Information". Clicking the arrow beside it exposes a text area with the old citation, ready to be copied. This seems to be sticky; once expanded, it will also appear on other sources I view until it's collapsed again.
I thought I would post this in case others were having trouble locating these citations. More broadly, it might be useful to have site-specific instructions for locating and constructing these citations. Ancestry, I know, is more of a problem as it provides a source for a record but not the details to locate a specific record.
