Help Connect Canada Project Notables for January 2024! [closed]

Question

The Canada Project’s monthly connection challenge for January 2024 is open. We are highlighting music-related notables who need to be connected to the Global Family Tree.  Can you help by adding profiles of family members until a connection to the Global WikiTree is made?

The current tree sizes as of December 29th are shown for each profile.  Even if a connection is not made, adding even a single profile to a family is helpful and appreciated!

Measha Brüggergosman is now connected to the larger tree through her father to [[Gosman-34|John Gosman(b. abt. 1789)]] and [[Fleming-13695|Nancy(Fleming)Gosman]] Her maternal line could connect, but a profile manager would need to add her mother, who is still living, to Measha, to populate those ancestors, beginning with her grandparents, [[Eatmon-140 |Chester Eatmon]] and [[McCarty-5439|Edna Margaret (McCarty) Eatmon (1908-1981)]] .

This has been a really interesting family to research and could use more attention from someone more familiar with New Brunswick and the Black Loyalists.

Also, while I don’t think he has enough information to be a notable, John’s uncle Dan R MacDonald is a noteworthy Canadian. Dan’s father, Johnny “Ghilleasbuig Iain” of Glencoe Road (per Wikipedia), was also a noted fiddler.

I have been trying to find information on his wife to see if he can be connected through her. So far I have found only her name and that they married in 1976.

The other possibility is asking for help from the Jewish Roots project.

Hopefully they can help. I did add his paternal grandparents and uncle earlier today but the sources could be improved. His paternal grandparents died in Treblinka. Clarence Robert "Bob" Nobles Norton is my 15th cousin twice removed at 21 degrees. I am related to him on my paternal side. Ironically my father was a country western guitar player, just not famous. Sons of the Pioneers was one of his favorite groups, along with my mother, my husband, and myself.  I will see what I may be able to add and connect to for him.
