We all have them ... those lines that we never seem to have time or expertise to delve into and which remain slender twigs on our family tree for years.
As part of our 15th Anniversary celebration in 2023, we're introducing the new We Will RAWK You Event. It's a lot like the WikiTree Challenge except that we'll be researching three lines each for five fellow WikiTree members.
RAWK stands for Random Acts of WikiTreer Kindness.
How it works:
The plan is to run this event three times in 2023 - March, June, and September. It works like this:
A month before each of these events, we will put out a call in G2G for RAWK nominations. This is your opportunity to nominate another WikiTreer to be a potential participant in the We Will RAWK You Event.
After nominations close, The WikiTree Events Committee will randomly pick 5 of the nominated WikiTreers who will then get to be RAWKED.
A month prior to each event, we will also put out a call in G2G for RAWKERS, WikiTreers who would like to help work on the lines of the 5 participants. That's what this post is for!
On the 1st of March (June and September), we will kick off the We Will RAWK You Event. Everyone who signed up to help with research will have one month to see how much they can increase the CC7 numbers for the five nominated WikiTreers.
There are stickers for those who are RAWKED and for the RAWKERS.
Note: Members of the WikiTree Team are not eligible for nomination.
