It's come up often that we should do something similar to the WikiTree Challenge for WikiTree members. As a part of our 15th Anniversary celebration this year, we decided to introduce our We Will RAWK You Event.
RAWK stands for Random Acts of WikiTreer Kindness.
We did our first round of RAWK in March and had some good success for our nominees so here we go for round two!
How it works:
A month before each of these events, we will put out a call in G2G for RAWK nominations (like this one!). This is your opportunity to nominate another WikiTreer to be a potential participant in the We Will RAWK You Event.
After nominations close, The WikiTree Events Committee will randomly pick 5 of the nominated WikiTreers who will then get to be RAWKED.
A month prior to each event, we will also put out a call in G2G for RAWKERS, WikiTreers who would like to help work on the lines of the 5 participants.
On June 1st we will kick off the We Will RAWK You Event. Everyone who signed up to help with research will have one month to see how much they can increase the CC7 numbers for the five nominated WikiTreers.
There are stickers for those who are RAWKED and for the RAWKERS.
Note: Members of the WikiTree Team are not eligible for nomination.
