Do you want to help a fellow WikiTreer increase their CC7?
RAWK stands for Random Acts of WikiTreer Kindness. It's a lot like the WikiTree Challenge except that our goal is to work on the branches of five fellow WikiTree members.
To date we have had six We Will RAWK You events and each has produced wonderful growth in the CC7s of 30 WikiTreers (5 per event), thanks to the zealous team of RAWKERS. Join us for our next We Will RAWK You event in April! What genealogical generosity will we be able to bestow on 5 more WikiTreers?
How it works:
A month before each of these events, we will put out a call in G2G for RAWK nominations. This is your opportunity to nominate another WikiTreer to be a potential participant in the We Will RAWK You Event.
After nominations close, The WikiTree Events Committee will randomly pick 5 of the nominated WikiTreers who will then get to be RAWKED.
A month prior to each event, we will also put out a call in G2G for RAWKERS, WikiTreers who would like to help work on the lines of the 5 participants. That's what this post is for!
On the 1st of April, we'll kick off the next We Will RAWK You Event. Everyone who signed up to help with research will have one month to work to see how much they can increase the CC7 numbers for the five nominated WikiTreers.
There are stickers for those who are RAWKED and for the RAWKERS.
Note: Members of the WikiTree Team are not eligible for nomination.
