Can I get a little help with some Dutch/German transcription please?

Hello everyone,

I have found a huwelijksbijlagen, or marriage supplement, for a 1828 marriage, here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939K-K8S2-7D?i=1279&cc=1576401

I know that the bride's parents are German, and I am looking for sources for her German side of the tree. I can also see that some of the extracts are in German, and I am wondering if there may be some info on her parents in there?

Just wondering if I can get some help with transcribing it, as some of the handwriting is quite scrawled, and it also doesn't help when it's in another language!

It says:

September 1828. Königlich Grossbrittannisch Hannöversches Amt. Meyer.

The parts at the beginning and the end I can not read. Looks like dutch.

Given at the office Fürstenau, 24. Sep. 1828

The widow of the late peasant Hermann Heinrich Tebbenhoff, née Margarethe Elisabeth Sodts, from the village Settrup in our district, gave free willingly to the protocol:

Her oldest son Johann Gerhard Tebbenhoff, born on the 7th of August in 1790, who lives as a tailor/dressmaker in the village of Schrovesand near Delft in the kingdom of the Netherlands, wants to marry Elisabeth Mass, born in Schrovesand, and therefor asked for her motherly blessings. Since she has no objection against this wedding, she now wants to officialy give her consent in the best manner.

After reading it out to her, she again confirmed the content of this statement. Given at the date above. (signed) Meyer

It is certified by the office that this copy is identical to the original protocol.

Thank you so much, Danny!

I can read most of the Dutch, it's the German I need to work on. I'll give more of the German a try tomorrow, and I'll let you know how that goes

Much appreciatedyes

Good night from New Zealand!

You're welcome. Thx for the star.

Feel free to ask if you need more help.
Hello again Danny,

I had a go at the remaining German (images 1282-1285) and I can make out some of it, some of the clearer stuff, but I still can't make out all of it! Would you mind giving me a hand with it? Sorry to be a bother!

The remaining images are Dutch, however, and I can make sense of that (with some patience)!

Thank you so much Danny, I really appreciate the help!laughyes

Interestingly, but now I see not that surprisingly, the Dutch is the same as the German i.e. the extracts are the same, just in the different languages.

Let me know if you need a hand with anything, e.g. Dutch transcription, I would be happy to return the favour!

Thanks again,

Alex Fransen
