Can anyone decipher this baptism entry. It is the last entry on the page on the left. It dates back to 1675.

Den 27 dito een Comp(agnie) slavinnekint van een onbekent Christenvader. De moeder was Claasje die over ....... van 's Comp(agnie)sweghen als getuyghe gestaan heeft de vaandrigh Jeronymus Croese. Des kints naam Jannetie.

Jannetie was the baptised girl, daughter of the female slave Claasje and of an unknown Christian father. Witness was Jeronymus Croese, who was a "vaandrig" (a kind of military title).

A Vaandrig (ensign) is the lowest officer rank in the army below that of lieutenant. Usually a young officer still in training or at the beginning of his career.
