I have been on Wikitree for about 2 months now. I started as I got fd up with My Heritage asking me to sign up for a more expensive membership in order me to have access to more information. I had been off the computer for 3-4 years and was surprised to find out how 'rusty' I had become. Refreshing my computer skills and learning Wikitree has been a real challenge. I originally signed up to the German team but shortly realized that early on it was a little bit too much until I am comfortable again with the computer and of course with Wikitree. I am excited though. I have two big walls at present. Wiedner (Paternal grandfather's Prussian name. The town is in Poland now and I see little 'german' about it (we are talking 150 years since he left.) And my maternal grandmother- whose maiden name was Posch out of Berlin but originally, I believe, from the Tirol. There is a Posch who fits name and background. He is noted for a cameo of Mozart and all attempts, so far, at family tree search is drowned by Mozart information.. It is like...Posch, Oh him,.he did a Mozart portrait...Let us tell you all about Mozart! Patience will eventually be my ally. But the rest is learning and patiently searching... as you all know.
