The marriage intentions of Soloman Grant of Vinalhaven and Katharine Lasdel of Islesborough were published in Vinalhaven on April 5, 1794,[2] and they were married there on April 12, 1794 (the same day that Patience Grant (presumably Solomon's brother) married Stephen Shurman in Vinalhaven).[3]
