Biography

Solomon Grant, the son of Andrew Grant and Elizabeth (Dunton) Grant, was born at Hampden, Maine on March 5, 1773.^[1]

The marriage intentions of Soloman Grant of Vinalhaven and Katharine Lasdel of Islesborough were published in Vinalhaven on April 5, 1794,^[2] and they were married there on April 12, 1794 (the same day that Patience Grant (presumably Solomon's brother) married Stephen Shurman in Vinalhaven).^[3]

Solomon and Katherine had the following children:^[4]

Solomon died before 1850, probably at Vinalhaven.^[1]
