Research Notes

• The Watcarrick Graveyard inscriptions^[15] would indicate that Margaret was born in 1796, as does this quote from an unsourced family pedigree on FamilySearch: "In December 1817, he married Margaret Stewart Charters whom they baptised in Eskdalemuir 31 January 1796"
