Biography

Robert was born 12 May 1828 in Eskdalemuir, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, the son of William Graham and Margaret Charters^[1].

Robert married Mary Carruthers some time prior to the birth of their first child David in 1850.^[2]

They had 4 children together:

1. David Graham (21 Dec 1850)^[2]
2. Jane Graham (17 Dec 1852 - June 1869)^[3][4]
3. Janet Graham (27 May 1855)^[5]
4. James Carruthers Graham (29 Nov 1859 - 4 Sep 1878)^[6][4]

Robert died at Cote Farm, Eskdalemuir, Dumfriesshire, Scotland on 26 Apr 1881at the age of 81, and was burried in Watcarrick Churchyard10^[4] His wife Mary died at Cote Farm on 10 Dec 1896 at the age of 81^[4]. She was also burried at Watcarrick Churchyard^[4].
