Biography

Lucretia Williams was born about 1775 in Province of North Carolina, daughter of Samuel Williams (~1750– ) and Mary Molly Unknown (1740–1811). Creasy died in 1865 in New Hope, Iredell, North Carolina, United States, aged 89.

Lucretia married Hosea Redmond but exact date is unknown. It appears their 1st child was born around 1806 and the Heritage of North Carolina indicates they probably married early 1805, due to her father's gift of land on 15 Feb 1805. Lucretia and Hosea had 6 boys and 2 girls by 1830 census: (as noted in Heritage of NC):
