Hiram died in the Battle of Emuckfau in what is now Tallapossa County Alabama. He served under the command of General Andrew Jackson during the Creek Indian Wars.

Hiram died on January 22, 1814 in Creek Indian War, Tallapoosa, Alabama Territory, aged 39.[2]

Hiram was born about 1774. He was the son of Samuel Williams and Mary Williams. He passed away in 1814.
