Biography

European Aristocracy
Sir Charles Waller was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.

Charles Waller was born on 8 June 1835. He was the son of Charles Waller and Maria Burgher.

In the 1850 United States Federal Census enumerated on 22 July 1850, Charles Waller (aged 15, a Clerk) was recorded living with his father Charles Waller (49 and a Painter), his mother Maria Waller (39) and his siblings Josephine H Waller (14), Maria L Waller (10), William E Waller (9), Edmond Waller (5) and Oscar Waller (10 months) at Hoboken, Hudson, New Jersey[1].

He probably fought in the America Civil War. He was employed as a Book Keeper of 90 Broad Street when he enlisted.

His mother Maria died on 17 June 1872.

In the 1880 United States Federal Census, Charles Waller (aged 45 and a C N W Railway Chief Clerk & Store Keeper) was recorded living in Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin[2].

His father Charles passed away on 23 January 1885, aged 83.

Upon the death of Sir Edmund Waller, 5th Baronet on 22 October 1888, he succeeded as the 6th Baronet Waller, of Newport, co. Tipperary [I., 1780].

Sir Charles Christian Waller, 6th Baronet, was resident at the Broadway Central Hotel in Manhattan, New York when he passed away on 25 May 1912, having never married, and was buried on 30 May 1912 at Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, United States[3]. He was succeeded by his nephew William Edgar Waller.

The primary Beneficiary/Executor of his Will was his nephew Sir William Edgar Waller, Baronet[4]. His effects were valued at £6,074 17s. 0d.
