Biography

Antonina Soldano is born 31 December 1809 and baptized the next day. She is the daughter of Maestro Giuseppe Soldano and Maria Antonia Greco, a married couple from Monreale. Her godparents are Maestro Salvatore and Serafina Greco, brother and sister from Monreale.

Antonina's mother dies by 1816, when her father remarries, to Giuseppa Maniscalco.

Antonina dies unmarried at sixteen years of age (b. 1810) on 26 October 1826. She has a half-sister with the same name, born in 1827.
