Alberto Soldano is born and baptized on 10 December 1807, named after his paternal grandfather. He is the son of Maestro Giuseppe Soldano and Antonina Greco, a married couple from Monreale. His godparents are Don Ferdinando and Donna Anna Orlando, a married couple.[1]
In 1828, Maestro Alberto and his sister, Caterina, stand as godparents to Biagia Maniscalco.
Alberto is married to Caterina di Mattia. (I have reviewed the matrimonial index for 1812-32, and do not find them listed.) They have at least one child, Maria Antonia (1830).
Maria Antonia is born and baptized 15 July 1830. Her godparents are Emmanuele and Lucia Soldano, brother and sister.[2]
Three days after the birth of her child, Alberto's wife dies, at age 20 (b. 1810) on 18 July 1830. [3]
