Biography

Morgan Morgan ii was born 20 March 1737 at Bunker Hill, Frederick County, Virginia, now Berkeley County, West Virginia, the eighth and youngest of nine known children and seven sons of Col. Morgan and Catherine Garretson Morgan.

On 17 November 1761, when he was twenty-four, he married Mary Gossett in Frederick County, Virginia. She bore him eleven known children, six sons and five daughters:
