Biography

Mary Gossett^[1] was born on 13 September 1743 in Frederick (later Berkeley) County, Virginia.^{[2] [3]} She married Morgan Morgan on November 17, 1761^[4]She bore him seventeen children, ten sons and seven daughters, including:

1. David Lewellyn Morgan# Phebe Morgan
2. Zackquill Morgan
3. Rebekah Morgan
4. Eli Morgan
5. Morgan Morgan
6. Mary Morgan
7. Cynthia Morgan
8. Archilles Morgan.

She died on 13 September 1817 in Bunker Hill, Berkeley County, Virginia,^[5]

Note

Mary is the 5th great-grandmother of Glenn Smith.^[6]
