Biography

Anne Morgan^[1][2][3] was born in 1716 in Christiana, New Castle County, Delaware, the second of eight known children and the only daughter of Morgan and Catherine Garretson Morgan.

Some believe that In 1735, when she was in her late teens, she married Nathaniel Thomas. However, the will of Nathaniel Thomas states that she "sometimes pretended to be" his wife. He lists six children with her.^[4]

She is listed as the daughter of Morgan Morgan in the will of Nathaniel Thomas.^[4]

On 1 March 1763, when she was in her mid-forties, she died in Ninety-Six District (later Spartanburg County), South Carolina, of unknown causes.
