I see her birth date as 1720, 1721, and 1730. I'm not sure which one is correct. One the back of her photo, it says 1721, but I can't be sure that is correct.
My family records also say Mildred Anne was the second or third wife to John Hammon. If true, that probably means all 16 kids did not belong to her. These are things that need some research.--- Jayne Peace Pyle
When ANN "Millie" Mildred Morgan was born in 1730 in Wilkes, North Carolina, her father, Benjamin, was 18, and her mother, Phoebe, was 18. She married AMBROSE Dudley Hammon in 1754 in her hometown. They had 16 children in 30 years. She died on July 29, 1794, at the age of 64.
