I have been doing genealogy for more than 60 years. It is something I was taught by my great-aunt, Dollie Neal Hale when I was 12 years old. I love it. The last names on my mother's side are Hale, Neal, Jackson, Sanches. The last names on my father's side are Peace, Griffin, Bouldin, Stevens. I also work on my later husband's lines of Pyle, Lovelady, Harer, Packard, Bean, Russell. My son and grandkids are descendants of Samuel Ache Haught and Catherine Carrie Hunnicutt, so will be working on Haught also. I have many trees on Ancestry.com. I am adding to WikiTree as often as possible.

Hi Jayne,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!

It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
